“Productivity and efficiency can be achieved only step by step with sustained hard work, relentless attention to details and insistence on the highest standards of quality and performance.”

Our Scope of supply to the extent specified and detailed on the drawings, specifications and bill of quantities. Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical panel boards, main switch boards with all components, instruments, fittings and accessories for efficient operation without any trouble

The supply & manufacturing of panel boards unless and otherwise stated, shall conform to the customer requirement & specifications; to the relevant and latest revisions of Indian standards and Indian Electricity Rules

Panels shall be metal enclosed, free standing, floor / wall mounting and compartmentalized suitable for installation. The Panel shall be fabricated using pressed and shaped cold rolled sheet steel (CRCA) of adequate thickness or by using suitable mild steel structural sections. The sheet steel used for panel shall be of minimum 2mm thick & 3mm thickness. All sheet steel work forming the exterior of switchboards shall be smoothly finished, leveled and free from flaws. Dust and damp protected

After fabrication the panel shall undergo 7 tank treatment / sand blasting for removing grease, Rust etc. The panel shall be coated with zinc chromate primer panels. After coating of primer, the panel shall be painted with powder coating. Paint shade shall be Siemens gray RAL 7032

Electrical materials and equipment supplied by the approved or recommended suppliers shall comply in all respects, as a minimum to the latest Indian Standard Institutions recommendations. Air Circuit Breaker (ACB), Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB), Contactors, Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB), Residual Current Breaker (RCCB), HRC fuse link, Current Transformers (CT’s), Potential Transformer, Relays, Indicating Instrument, Meters, DOL Starters, Capacitors, Push Buttons / Illuminated Push Buttons etc

The bus bars shall be housed in non-segregated sheet steel compartments at convenient locations with provision for access to the buses from the front of the panel. The bus bar shall be suitably braced with DMC/SMC supports to provide a through fault withstand capacity of 50 KA RMS symmetrical for one second and a peak short circuit withstand capacity 150 KA minimum. The neutral as well as the earth bus shall be capable of withstanding the above fault level. Large clearance and creeping distance shall be provided on the bus bar system to minimize the possibility of a fault. High-tension bolts, nuts and spring washers shall be provided at all bus bar joints. All bus bar and tappings shall be provided with color-coded sleeves for phase identification.

All control wiring shall be carried out with PVC-FRLS cable having stranded copper conductors with minimum cross section of 1.5 Sq mm for potential & control circuits and 2.5 Sq mm for current transformer circuits. Control wiring for analog, digital inputs / outputs shall be done with 1.5/1Sq.mm screened copper cables. All power cables shall be minimum cross section of 4 Sq mm.
Wiring shall be neatly bunched, adequately to allow for easy access and maintenance. Wires shall be identified by numbered ferrules at each end. The ferrules shall be of ring type and of non-deteriorating material. They shall be firmly located on each termination so as to prevent free movement. All control circuit fuses / MCBs shall be mounted in front of the panel and shall be easily accessible. All CT wiring shall be done with CT terminal block with shorting facility mounted in the metering compartment

All feeders shall incorporate indicating lamps that reflect feeder, motor starter or contactor status i.e. open, closed & Trip indication lamp. The colour’s of the indicating lamps shall be Red, Green, White, Amber, Yellow, and Blue. Voltage indication lamps shall be provided as specified

A nameplate with the switchboard designation shall be fixed at the top of the central panel. A separate nameplate giving details for each compartment of bus section shall be provided. Nameplate or polyester adhesive stickers shall be provided for each equipment (lamps, push buttons, switches, relays, auxiliary contactors etc.) mounted on the switchboard. Special warning plates shall be provided on removable covers or doors giving inside the switchboards also, wherever considered necessary. Engraved nameplates shall preferably be of 3-ply (Black-White Black) laminated sheets. Labels shall be engraved white characters on a black background and shall be made of anodized aluminum. Engraving shall be done with square / vee groove cutters. The label shall be affixed in a prominent position on the panel giving the material loaded in the respective feeder. Ex: Name and type, System voltage, Switchgear rating, KVAR/KW rating, etc

General:
The routine tests shall be conducted as per IS standards on each Electrical Panel Boards and shall comprise. Inspection of the Switchboards including inspection of wiring and electrical operational and functional tests wherever necessary. Checking of protective measures and electrical continuity of the protective circuits.
Dielectric Tests:
Insulation resistance of the power circuit between each pole and the earth and that between the poles shall be measured. Insulation resistance of all secondary wiring between phase and earth shall be measured. Insulation test shall be carried out both before and after high voltage test.
High Voltage Test:
A high voltage test with 2.5 kV for power circuit and 1.5kV for Control Circuit, Duration one minute shall be applied between each pole and earth and between poles.
Test certificate shall be submitted along with panel wherever it is necessary.

The Electrical Panel boards shall be properly packed for transportation and shall be wrapped in polythene sheets before being placed in crates / cases to prevent damage to finish. The crates / cases shall have skid bottom for handling. Special notations such as ‘Fragile’, ‘This end up’, ‘Center of gravity’, ‘Weight’, ‘Client’s particulars’, etc., shall be clearly marked on the packages

The company shall supply project specific drawings for all systems and components supplied; these shall include the following:- > General arrangement drawings
> Foundation details
> Single line diagrams
> Schematic diagrams for control and protection circuits
> Circuit wiring diagrams showing connections and wiring identification numbers for testing

>
